That got your attention, huh?
Rest assured, this is not an editorial bait-and-switch.
Can you think of two topics that conjure up more fantastic emotion and excitement than sex and money?
We promised to deliver refreshingly different content and resources than the average real estate blog, didn’t we?
Gentlemen, now you have an even greater opportunity to be the hero your wife has always wanted!
Ladies… well, I’m not exactly sure what to say to you about this, so I’ll just keep quiet and let you contribute your thoughts in the comments!
The basis for this post was an article that caught MY attention recently, titled: “The More Sex You Have, The More Money You Make.” (source: mindbodygreen.com)
As a real estate investor and entrepreneur, one of our primary goals, if not THE primary goal, is to make a lot of money. Am I right?
According to MindBodyGreen.com, a new study from Anglia Ruskin University in the U.K. found that those who get it on two or three times a week earn 4.5% more than their less frisky colleagues.”
Dr. Nick Drydakis clarifies:
“The vast medical and psychological literature concludes that sexual activity is associated with good health and improved physical and mental capacities, psychological well-being and dietary habits.”
“Maslow’s Need Hierarchy Theory claims that the happier and more fulfilled individuals are in their lives, the more productive and successful they will be in their work, translating to higher wages. The theory concludes that people need to love and be loved, sexually and non-sexually, by others. In the absence of these elements, people may become susceptible to loneliness, social anxiety and depression — all factors that can affect their working life.”
Good ol’ Maslow!
I realize that a 4.5% increase in income is not the most dramatic statistic in the world, but hey, every little financial “hack” helps. If the average American adult earns $40,000 per year, that equates to getting paid $1,800 extra every year in exchange for having MORE sex.
It certainly beats PAYING $1,800 for sex every year 😉
(your accountant will definitely agree with that one)
So, the bottom line is… as a successful or aspiring real estate entrepreneur, start making better use of your time freedom and spend more of it with your husband or wife before you go look at another ugly property 🙂
